Ramirus questioned the reasoning of holding this meeting in this particular Bouleuterion with the temperatures descending as they were. He had seen such buildings in other parts of Greece, particularly northern Epirus, where the sides of the building were at least enclosed, offering more protection from the elements. But here in Athens, it had open sides that offered no such comfort. Perhaps it was to allow people to see their politicians…
