Designated Target (John Taylor #9)

Hunting for a Hit man
When a federal witness is killed by an impossible shot shortly before testifying against a New Jersey crime family, John Taylor is sent to protect the remaining witness in the case. Realizing that the murder was more than a typical hit, Taylor does what he always does … he takes the offensive. Taylor must find the hit man and protect the woman at the same time, and he must do it without Whitaker, his long time partner and pregnant wife. In tracking down a hit man that no one has realized was out there, Taylor is taken on a journey across the country, directly into the assassin’s crosshairs.
